Playa del Arenal de Jávea, as its name suggests, is the only sandy beach in the entire municipality. Arenal Beach is 480 meters long, it is an urban beach with shallow waters and coarse sand, the influx during the summer months is high. It is the most touristic beach because it has a promenade around the beach that is named after the tennis player David Ferrer in honor of the elite athlete born in our municipality. This promenade is full of restaurants, cafes, entertainment venues and shops. Every year it receives the Blue Flag for its calm waters located in the center of the bay of Jávea and for compliance with all the required regulations.
On the Arenal Beach of Jávea, during the summer months, beach bars are installed in the northern part that allow the rental of jet skis, kayaks, paddle surf and scooters. Along the beach you will find different facilities for practicing sports, as well as beach soccer, volleyball and other ball games.
This busy beach offers lifeguard services and surveillance by Red Cross lifeguards, a health post to deal with incidents and on the opposite side, a toilet service adapted for people with reduced mobility. A floating platform is installed inside the sea in summer for the enjoyment of the little ones. In addition, children’s activities are also offered throughout the beach so that boys and girls do not get bored. A tourist office is located on the same promenade as the tennis player David Ferrer to inform tourists of any questions or doubts that may arise during their stay in Javea.
