The Montañar Beach I
The beach of Montañar, is the most extensive municipality Beach since it has approximately 2 km in length and an average occupancy level. Throughout the tour is never lost sight to the Cabo de San Antonio, notably mixing two types of areas, the gravel beach that occupies around a few 400mtrs and the area where the predominant stone of tosca that occupies about 1600mtrs approximately in 2 km. The prevailing rough stone settlements were historically used for carving and extraction of the tosca that was used as building material.
The State of the sea is marked by flags, this beach offers surveillance and first aid during the summer months, also found a watch tower and a health post for any incident.
Along the beach you can find different services such as bars, kayak rental, rental of sun loungers and parasols, as well as the different restaurants that are located in the area of the ride. In the months of July and August, it is common to see neighbors of Javea and tourists dining at the beach, to suppress heat and at the same time enjoy a pleasant evening with friends and family. Another thing that you can do on this beach is to observe the wonderful dawn also known as “Dawn of Spain”and of course the beautiful Sunrise.
Without a doubt the bars are the main protagonists of the beach, usually install from mid-May through mid-October if the weather allows it, the bars are those that mark the start of the summer season. In them we can enjoy from a rice to frontline, covers with their beers, cocktails and from the afternoon be transformed in terraces to listen good music by the dj’s and take a drink watching the sunset.
